Critical Event Management for State and Local Government

  

We are an inclusive cyber sales organization hiring NEW account manager positions in the Critical Event Management (CEM) division at BlackBerry. 

JOIN US and take a product suite to the State and Local Government sector that matches your drive, integrity and potential as an industry sales leader.

  

As a CEM expert *within the *BlackBerry AtHoc CEM Sales organization in North America, you will be responsible for generating opportunities to build the BlackBerry AtHoc CEM position within assigned accounts in state, local governments.  In which you will prospect in, qualify leads, develop leads into opportunities, close business, and continuously build a strong ongoing reliable and accurate pipeline all times. In using your talent, you’ll be equally as comfortable selling into customer personas such as (but not limited to): the C-Suite, Influencers, Budget holders, Procurement, Business Champions, VP levels, State Emergency Managers and Director levels.  You would be hosting a room of Critical Event Management Experts in which you would be covering topics such as: business benefits, capability differentiation, use case fit, business challenge resolution, overcoming objections, value proposition and creatively solving their business and technical challenges.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • Develop a strong understanding of target buyers, your target marketplace, our products and our competitors 
  • Manage and expand new business in state, and local government entities with focus in new product sales, targeting the enterprise market in assigned prospective territories.
  • Manage and expand new business through strong prospecting and identification of new opportunities, creation of these opportunities (CRM), management of a strong and healthy pipeline 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for major customer communication leading all aspects of additional interactions with BlackBerry/Alliance partner resources (e.g., support). 
  • Develop, implement and maintain concrete plans for how the account will achieve targets. 
  • Articulate the value of the BlackBerry CEM solution to decision makers and expertly manage the complex sales cycle. 
  • Nurture and develop relationships within the assigned territory and/or accounts, presenting to the C-suite and all other pertinent groups the value of a BlackBerry CEM solution. 
  • Work with the Partner/Channel, Legal, Product, Marketing, and other applicable teams to define and support prospecting efforts within the assigned territory and/or accounts. 
  • Generate appropriate sales development activity to ensure healthy pipeline management. 
  • Accurately forecast, maintaining excellent SFDC hygiene. 
  • Conduct online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads, sales opportunities and close business
  • Optimally demonstrate programs, tools, processes and events to drive and close the sale. 
  • Ensure 100% Customer Satisfaction at all times, while delivering on your business commitments
  • Travel as needed. 

      

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

  • Driven, upbeat, the glass is half full, ready to build, sell and* BE the face of our Critical Event Management solution software product:BlackBerry AtHoc. 
  • 4-7 years in a software-as-a-service, product, “hunter” or outside sales role – ideally in a Critical Events Management, Workforce management, or other Business Continuity related fields. A bachelor’s degree is also a plus.
  • A well-documented body of work and is able to demonstrate a successful enterprise sale, who is a professional committed to driving a superior customer experience by delivering technology solutions tailored to customer needs, while exceeding their assigned quota. 
  • Requires the ability to work independently with substantial latitude for action and decision while maintaining focus on achieving desired outcomes as part of a collaborative development effort. 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills, in conjunction with experience calling on and presenting to C-Suite level contacts.
