Are you the person we’re looking for?

Working as a Senior Technical Sales Consultant, you will use your technical expertise & knowledge of BlackBerry AtHoc Critical Event Management (CEM) Software & Services.  You will articulate & evangelize AtHoc’s value proposition to our global customers driving adoption throughout Government, Security, Commercial, Healthcare and Education  organizations by working with customers and partners as the technical expert for AtHoc. Working partnered with the sales team, you will need to be highly credible in complex technical discussions with customers and partners.

In this role, you will:

  • Engage with top customers, driving the value of BlackBerry AtHoc Critical Event Management.
  • Respond to bids, including RFPs, RFI’s and RFQs, and manage Proof of Concept (POC) actuivty from inception to close.
  • Perform product demonstrations and presentations remotely and on-site with customers and partners.
  • Provide technical expertise and knowledge of BlackBerry Athoc solutions to named accounts, prospects and partners in both pre-sales and post-sale capacities.
  • Represent BlackBerry AtHoc at Industry events as a Product Expert and Speaker at company road shows and trade shows.
  • Help ensure effective cross-functional team (internal & external) engagement from Pre-Sales to Post-Sales.
  • Refine and research technical requirements of each sales opportunity by working closely with internal teams,  the customer and partners in the design and implementation of BlackBerry software and services.
  • Partner with extended internal teams to build comprehensive account plans, ensuring long term customer influence & achievement of sales goals.
  • Accurately track account activity through the stages of the sales process.
  • Engage internal groups to identify applications, tools and resources to ensure success and solution value is maximized by the customer.
  • Build, maintain and support technical labs for use in technology demonstrations and training by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the Technical Support Escalation process on your customer’s behalf.
  • Actively engage with the product and service enhancement process with Product Management.Field innovation reporting & governance.
  • Travel to meet with customers throughout your territory/account base (up to 60% of the time).

You will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Technical Related Field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Effectively communicate our innovative value proposition for Critical Event Management when used for Emergency Mass Notifications, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Emergency Management, Information Technology, Crisis Teams, and Executive leaders communication.
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Previous B2B based solution sales engineer experience, gained within the enterprise software space
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft systems, specifically Microsoft SQL, IIS & Windows Server OS platforms
  • Previous experience with technical presales, software platform support, or end to end IT solution implementation experience with B2B solutions
  • A record of accomplishment in meeting and exceeding sales quota achievement goals.
  • Strong time management, project planning and organization skills are a must.
  • Conversational, reading and technical writing proficiency in both English and French.
  •  /Successful candidate must be fluent in French and English/

A bonus would be that you have a broad knowledge of Critical Event Management or physical security systems and infrastructure, but it is not a must have.  Our Sales Enablement team will provide you with the training, tools & resources so you are set for success.
